Because Normal (Home used or common) oil pan fires are not easy to deal with using traditional or commonly used fire extinguishers. A fire extinguisher contains high pressure; the force of the extinguisher can spray hot flaming oil from the pan and cause burns of the body of the user or can cause secondary fires. Alternatively, a wrong fire extinguisher can be used by the user.
CAUTION: If the fire is not extinguished, do not attempt to retrieve the blanket.
